San Gabriel Mission, known as the Queen of the Missions, is the first Claretian parish in California. In 1908, the Claretian Missionaries assumed management of the mission church. For years it served as the Congregation’s administrative site and its Campo, became the primary cemetery for the Western province. Besides managing the parish, the Claretians sponsored an elementary and secondary Catholic school.
