The sprawling Claretknoll property located in Peru, Illinois was purchased in 1957. It primarily served as the Claretian School for Brothers from 1958-1965. It also served as the site of the philosophate, novitiate, and belated vocations school at different points. In between school years, the property was used to host a summer camp called Camp Saint Claret. The Claretians sold the property in 1969.
